Factors
To consolidate our work on factors and multiples in 5CS, we played a game of matching the question to the correct answer.
Wellbeing Day - Emotions
In 5CS we have been exploring our emotions through art. We thought about things which represent different emotions and created an “opposite emotions” picture in the style of Picasso. We also had a lovely visit from our learning mentor Mrs McCarthy and a mental health nurse.
EAL Afternoon
We celebrated India by creating our own oil pictures of the national bird: the peacock.
Curriculum
In Week, 4, we designed our own Viking villages using the knowledge we have gained from our History lessons.
Times table rockstars!

Viking Experience Day
At the start of Week 3, Year 5 enjoyed a Viking Experience Day.
We looked at Viking weapons, money, horns, helmets and shields and we re-enacted a Viking Battle. This will be such useful information for Year 5's Viking work in English and Curriculum.
Roald Dahl Day
At the end of Week 2, we created murals using the stories and characters from Roald Dahl.
Soft Archery
In Week 2, we took part in a Soft Archery workshop and tried to hit the bullseye!
