Meet the School Council

Our school council were chosen by their classmates in a democratic election in the Autumn Term- British Values in action.

We are going to meet every week on a Wednesday afternoon to discuss ways in which we can improve our school.

We will provide updates on the school website and the school councillors will talk with their classes each week.

School Council Update- January 2026

We have been meeting to talk about how we can make wet lunchtimes more fun in our classrooms. We asked our classmates what sort of games we would like in wet break/ wet lunchtime boxes. We then came up with an agreed box of games for KS1 classes and also for KS2 classes.

Each week we are looking at ideas from the pupil voice box and then deciding on our next focus.

We looked through the pupil voice box ideas and then decided that our next focus would be on trying to make lunchtimes outside a bit more fun. The school council are going to get ideas from their classes about how we can improve the experience of lunchtime for everyone. Next week on the 28th of January we will discuss our ideas with everyone.
