• Fantastic School Council Assembly

  Our school council and peer mediators led a super assembly this morning, talking to all our pupils about who we can talk to in school when we are upset.

  They have created some fantastic posters which we have put up around school so that all our pupils know who they can talk to with their worries and fears. 

  

• Weekly Attendance Winners

  A super well done to 4H who were our weekly attendance winners for last week with an outstanding 100%. They have won a class tea party and an extra 15 minutes playtime.

   

  A huge well done as well to 1G, 2F, 3M, 4H, 5R, 5H, 6S and 6PH who all had attendance over 97% and won a spin on our attendance wheel.

• Easter Bonnet Parades

  What a fabulous end to the spring term with our fantastic Eater Bonnet Parades. All the bonnets were 'eggcellent' and our class teachers had a very difficult time choosing their winners.

• Mother's Day Dinner

  Over 120 mums, grandmas, aunties (and a few dads) attended our Mother's Day dinner today.

  A huge thank you to our amazing catering team for all their hard work in making the day so special for our children and their parents.

   

  

• World Book Day

  We love reading at Southglade! Here is how some of the staff (their children and pets) celebrated World Book Day at home despite the school being closed due to bad snowfall.

  Our wonderful school councillors took a trip to Nottingham Council House in the Market Square. They got to meet the Sheriff of Nottingham and had a great time exploring and asking lots of questions.
