• Robin Hood Half Marathon

  We have some staff members who did something very amazing at the weekend. On the 30th September, Mr Pegram, Mr Easton, Mrs Foster, Miss Burrows, Miss Parr and Mrs Carter all ran the Robin Hood Half Marathon! This is an incredible achievement and they should all be feeling proud of themselves! Well done everyone! Mrs Finnie and Miss Finnie were also spotted cheering them on with a ‘Go Southglade’ banner! Thank you for all your support! 

  

• Year 6 Expressive Arts Day

  Our wonderful Year 6 pupils visited the Oakwood Academy on Friday 21st September. Outstanding behaviour was displayed by all pupils ; the staff who attended were very impressed with the politeness and enthusiasm of all the children in 6PS and 6R. Keep up the brilliant work Year 6!

• Royal Wedding Party!!

  WOW!! What an amazing day we have had.

  A super EYFS performance followed by an amazing KS 1 and KS 2 extravaganza - singing, dancing and acting.

  Some amazing royal themed cakes for our cake competition and a fantastic street party on our playground at lunchtime. A huge thank you to our catering team for preparing such a wonderful picnic lunch for everyone.

  Finally a big thank you to all the staff at Southglade who helped make today happen and to all our children for their enthusiasm, excellent attitudes and of course their fantastic outfits - they all looked so smart.

  We would like to wish all our amazing year 6 pupils the very best as they sit their KS 2 SATs this week. We are so proud of you and how hard you have worked this year. Do your best and show everyone just how awesome you are!!

• Path Widening 8th - 11th May 2018

  Work has already begun on widening the access path into school. Access into school at home time will be through the vehicle access gate for years 1 - 6 and through Nursery for Nursery, Penguins and Polar bears and any siblings. There will be lots of staff out at the front of school to support if you are unsure.
