Autumn 2
Week 6 - We have had a lovely Christmas celebration week, with our Christmas Show, Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas dinner!
Week 5
We had a lovely visit from B and K this week the people who are building our new school. They were talking about what the children would like to be when they are older and how to keep safe on a building site. They enjoyed building schools, super markets and offices out of the blocks.
Week 4
This week the children all wrote a letter to their mums. They then enjoyed going on a walk to the post box to post their letter. Look out for the letter in the post!
Week 3- We had a great time this week using the programmable toys. The children were able to direct bee bot using the directions forwards and backwards. They were also able to turn him using left and right.
Week 2 - We had an exciting visit from the Teddy Bears Hospital this week! All the children brought their teddies to see the doctors and we learnt all about how to keep well and be healthy.
We have had a great start to the half term. We went on an Autumn walk and saw lots of leaves on the floor and noticed how they are beginning to change colour. The children are also remembering a lot of the letter sounds we have been learning in phonics and beginning to use them to make simple words.
