  • Visit of Alex Norris MP to Southglade Primary School

Fri 28 Feb 2025 Mr Pegram,

Today, we have been visited by our local MP Alex Norris. He met with 12 children who visited the Houses of Parliament at the end of January. First of all, he met with Mrs Thomas who shared progress of how the new build is progressing. After that, he went on a quick tour of the school with some of our school ambassadors. Finally, he met with all of the children who went to London; at this point they had a Q and A session during which they asked Alex a wide range of questions including:

What do you think of our new build?

What three words would you use to describe your job?

How did you become an MP?

What things have you changed since becoming an MP?

Are you oh front or back bench?

As ever, they were a credit to our school and it was a most enjoyable hour.
