  • Y2 Tree Planting

Thu 12 Feb 2026 Miss Huggett

    Tuesday 10th February

On Tuesday 10th February, Year 2 pupils planted a selection of trees on an open space near Beckhampton Road.

They had a great time making a difference to the local community.

The leader who met the y2 pupils said:

"Just wanted to say what a great pleasure it was working with the children today. They were all very well behaved and worked really hard planting the trees at Beckhampton open space. I hope that they all had a great experience and have gone away with some knowledge of how important these trees are to the community and local area.

    Well done Year 2!

  • Max and Milo Update

Wed 11 Feb 2026 Mr Pegram

    Wednesday 11th February

Max and Milo went for their vaccinations last week. Mrs Carter took them and we are pleased to report that they were very well behaved and brave. The vet said they are super healthy, have beautiful coats, shiny eyes and great teeth. They are also a good weight so well done to everyone who looks after them.

Tomorrow the rabbits will be going to Stonebridge City Farm for the holidays. This is a lovely city farm which the children can visit. It does superb work for children and young adults with special needs so is a great cause to support.

After half-term, Max and Milo will return to school.

  • The Skipping Ninja

Wed 04 Feb 2026 Mr Pegram

    Skipping Ninja Enrichment

On Tuesday 3rd February, we were visited by the Skipping Ninja. The day started with a superb assembly where we saw a full range of tricks and skills performed by the record breaking Skipping Ninja. The children were also told all about the wide ranging health and fitness benefits of skipping.

Then all year groups had a session with the Skipping Ninja to improve their skipping skills- forward skipping, backward skipping, skipping on one foot and crossovers were attempted by the vast majority of the children across the school.

At the end of the day, a range of skipping ninja materials were sold. There was a long queue to purchase products which was testament to how much fun the children had.
