• 2H Attendance League Winners!

  2H have had their dominos pizza party for winning the first attendance league! They also have the best attendance in school. So a huge well done to everyone who comes to school everyday in 2H. I wonder if 2H will win again next time!!! 

  

• House Champions

  Well done to Wollaton (blue) House who are this half terms champions. They managed to collect 982 tokens and will be celebrating with a 'Break the Rules Day' on Friday 24th February.

  

• NottAlone Live Event

  Mrs Thomas, Mrs McCarthy and two of our year 5 and 6 pupils had a lovely time at the NottAlone Live event today finding out all about mental health, wellbeing and the support available.

  

• Attendance Challenge Winners

  Our ten day challenge for attendance was won by three boys in year 1, year 3 and year 5. Well done to Fabian, Arley and Othniel! We will be running more attendance incentives in the second half of the Spring Term. 

  

• Public Consultation for New School Build

  On Monday 20^th February the appointed contractor for our new school build, Bowmer + Kirkland, will be holding a public consultation at Southglade from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. This is an opportunity for members of the public and our parents to come along and view information on the proposals, speak to the team and provide feedback. 

  

• Year 3 and 4- Bible Exhibition

  All of Year 3 and Year 4 visited Arnold Road Evangelical Church for a Bible Exhibition. The children heard all about the life of Jesus through a colourful presentation. There were even characters from the Bible to tell the stories! 

  

• Christmas Dinner Day!

  Today was Chirstmas dinner day- it was a lovely event and the kitchen made a wonderful dinner. The children enjoyed pulling their crackers and telling jokes. Thank you to all of our brilliant kitchen staff and midday supervisors who made this day so special. 

  

• Southglader of the Week 8.12.22

  Exciting news:

  We had our final Southglader of the Week assembly today. 12 children across Year 1- Year 6 were chosen for exemplifying what it means to be a Southglader showcasing respectful and excellent behaviour at all times.

• Pantomime Trip

  Our Year 4 and Year 6 children went to the Pantomime at The Playhouse in Nottingham. It was Dick Whittington Pantomime and the children (and staff) had a truly magical and fantastic time!
