English lessons - Holes
During this cluster of writing, we are adding drama into our lessons to put ourselves in the characters shoes. At the end of this cluster, the children will have written and performed/recorded their own news bulletin about the events leading to Stanley’s incarceration.
Emotional regulation workshop with Megan from MHST
During this workshop, we took part in different activities and conversations about what emotional regulation is, how the brain works when we are having big feelings, and what skills we can use to deal with these. We met Amy the Amygdala, Tex the Pre-frontal cortex, and Hippo the hippocampus.

Aspirations Day!
For our aspirations day, we had visits from Olympic gymnasts to a scientist. In class, we explored different careers that are available, what skills and qualities certain jobs require, and chose two different career related tasks to perform.
