Christmas Celebration Day

During our Christmas Celebration Day each year group looked at different aspects of the Christmas story:

EYFS found out what was special about the Nativity story.

Year 1 looked at Advent and found out how Christian people prepare for Christmas.

Year 2 discovered why the Christmas story is 'good news' for Christians.

Year 3 focused on Mary and why she is such an important part of the story.

Year 4 looked at the symbol of light and how it is an important symbol of Christmas.

Year 5 thought about peace and the significance of this at Christmas time.

Year 6 considered what Christmas means to them and whether Christmas is only for Christians.
