Spelling
This week we are learning about the suffix -er. We have already looked at how the suffix er shows that we are comparing something, just like with the suffix est.
For example.
I'm tall, James is taller but Holly is the tallest.
England is hot, Spain is hotter but Australia is the hottest.
Have a go at the worksheet below:
English
Today we are going to be continuing our write up for our own non-fiction book all about Castles. In yesterday's lesson we used our knowledge of castle features to write a non-chronological report on them. Today we are going to be using the same writing process to write a report all about Knights.
Watch Mrs Bragg's video here- 2.2.21english | Southglade Primary School (primarysite.media)
You can use the examples below to help you structure each section of your report.
As an extra activity have a go at designing your own coat of arms just like a knight!
Maths
Today in maths we are dividing by 10. Just like yesterday this is easy peasy if you know your 10 times tables, which we all do!
Watch Miss Storer below, then have a go at the worksheet in your pack.

Science
Today we are learning all about John McAdam, who invented a really important material that we use every day but I bet you have never heard of him!
Watch the video below and then have a go at filling out the fact file about him. What would your material be called if you could name it after yourself?
