Today we went to the Sealife Centre and had an amazing time. We saw lots of different under the sea creatures including sharks, rays, turtles, otters, penguins, jellyfish, seahorses and lots of different types of fish. We had such a wonderful time and really impressed everyone who was there with all the animals we saw, facts we knew and how sensible we were. We were a credit to Southglade. Great Big Dance Off

Mrs Dowse and Mrs Finnie kindly gave up their evening on Monday 7th March to take a group of 12 year 6 pupils to the Albert Hall in Nottingham to perform an emotional WW2 themed dance.

Mrs Dowse was so proud of the children as they performed their dance in front of a large audience. They scored highly but were up against some touch competition.

Mrs Dowse mentioned the great team spirit and enthusiasm that the group showed and the support that they gave each other and also other schools as well.

Well done to the wonderful year 6 pupils and a huge thanks to Mrs Dowse for all of the work you have put into this dance and to Mrs Finnie for supporting the group on the evening of the performance.
