We discussed the issue of food shortages for animals in the UK during winter. The children made animal bird feeders to hang up in their gardens and around school in order to help the birds.
On Wednesday, the children researched different animal habitats. They then worked in small groups to create habitat boxes for the animals. The children used a range of materials, including soil and grass that they found outside whilst on a material hunt.
