DEAR stands for Drop Everything and Read. In the Base at the end of every day, the SNA's choose a story sack to read for pleasure with a small group of SEND children for 30 minutes. This is an interactive session which allows all abilities of SEN pupil to take part by accessing puppets, masks, characters, or sensory items which support their level of need and development.
