Art week

This week has been art week. In school the children have been learning about an artist called Barbara Hepworth, who uses nature to create her masterpieces.

To consolidate everything you have learnt this week, spend the whole day creating a project.

This could be:

- A poster or information booklet about Hepworth and her work

- Collection of natural resources to create your own artwork

- A sketch of your own natural art work

- Going into the garden and taking pictures of nature

- Identifying patterns, colours and shades within nature

- Research other artists who use nature in their work

- Compare the work of different artist, deciding which you like best and why
