Phonics
We are exploring the 'ai' phonics family this week and developing our understanding of this during our vocabulary lesson. Please watch the 'ai' family video below and complete the activities to apply the different sounds in words.
Story
Please watch Miss Robbins reading the story of Paddington Bear, which is the text we will be using this half term.
English
Today, we are thinking about character descriptions of Paddington Bear. Have a look at the image of Paddington and write adjectives about the image to describe what he looks like. There are also statements to match and say if they are true or false for Paddington based on his image.
Maths
For maths, we will be essentially doing the same work that we would have been doing in class.
This week is a consolidation week for addition and subtraction. Each day, there will be two to three videos that follow a similar structure to the maths lessons in school.
Begin by joining in with some counting with Mr Land.
