In P.E, 3S have been putting together a dance routine inspired by Jazz dancing. We have practiced to the song 'I Love to Boogie' by T-Rex.

EAL Afternoon- Caribbean 

We discussed he differences between Caribbean and UK food and weather. We tasted different Caribbean foods such as, Hardo bread, bun, plantain and different juices. 

 

The children completed a carousel of fossil activities including making salt dough fossils, art straw dinosaurs, tracing fossils, researching key questions and a matching activity. 

Stone Age Foraging

The children foraged for food like Stone Age hunter-gatherers. They learnt about different foods that were eaten during the Stone Age, including: salmon, steak, meat, cheese, berries and fruit. 

Washing our Woolly Mammoths

Year 3 enjoyed a Stone Age Day where they completed a carousel of different activities including:

  • Making a berry stew
  • Exploring Stone Age poo
  • Cave art
  • Stone Age food menus
  • Medallion making
  • Clay heads
  • Biscuit Stonehenge 
  • Javelin throwing
  • Target practice
  • Research
