Geography
This week, the children used Digimaps to explore digital maps of our local area. They used grid references to identify the location of amenities within the area e.g. school, church, post office.
They also used a map to plot a route to walk around our local area in order to identify the different bird species living in Bestwood. The children used their fieldwork skills to follow their route and complete the observation.
