The Octosquid is a rare creature that is largely found deep down at the bottom of ocean. He favours quiet locations that are sheltered from the stormy seas; the deeper the water then the more favourable the environment is for Octosquids. He avoids areas which have busy shipping lanes but can sometimes be found lurking in desolate shipwrecks hunting for treasures. Furthermore, another favourite location for an Octosquid to be found is in the darkness and seclusion that is offered by deep underwater caves. These filter out the choppiness of the water and lead to a calm oasis for the octosquid to lay his eggs.
