Music Assembly
Fri 05 May 2023On Wednesday, we were fortunate to have a visitor from a very talented musician called Ben. He showcased many different instruments including an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, an amplifier, a drug set and a fabulous key board. He played songs that we all knew and could sing along too and then Miss Brierley and Miss Finnie were fortunate enough to play with Ben as part of his band. The children had a wonderful time and it was a great start to a Wednesday morning.

Coronation Celebration
Fri 05 May 2023Today we have been celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III. The children came to school in their finest clothes fit for a coronation. We had a special assembly where we sang the national anthem and then we sang a specially adapted version of the song Celebrate which was adapted by Mrs McCarthy and Mrs Carter.
Children also enjoyed a special picnic lunch with traditional finger food and played traditional games on the playground led by Mr Parkes.
