Morning everyone,

If you feeling active today Joe Wicks will be holding his pe lesson today at 9:00am. You can find the live videos by going to google and serching Body coach tv or you can watch (and join in) via youtube.

Theses include a warm up session and around 20 minutes of activities. Definatly worth a try and lots of fun.

These sessions are avaiable Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

During today's phonic lesson we will taking a look at Mrs Bettridge's ryhming strings to see if she has got them right. Can you help her to say the words for each card and find which word Mrs Bettridge has got worng?

Remember the end of ryhming words sound the same, some of the end sounds in todays activities are T and N can you here them?

Can you think of any more words that you could add to the ryhming strings?

Today we will be looking at size. We will looking at all the different words that we use to describe the size of things we see, such as big,small, long and short.

Mrs Bettridge will be using her tape measure and ruler to measure items she has at home.

We will be putting things in size order from biggest to smallest, widest to narrowest.

Find things at home that you can use your knowledge of size to decribe it to your family, can you different ways of putting them in order?

If you have a tape measure or ruler have ago at measuring things around your home or garden such as your sofa, cupboard doors or toys ( ask your grown up for help with bigger items)

Today Mrs Bettridge will be reading one of her favourite stories by Julia Donaldson, Room on the broom. This story is about a witch who meets lots of animals while out on her broomstick with her cat. Everything is great until her broomstick snaps and the witch is found by a Dragon!!
