We are very excited this week to welcome some chicks to the Nursery.  The children have had the opportunity to watch the eggs hatch and to see the new chicks coming out of their shell.  The children also had the opportunity to stroke the chicks remembering to be very gentle. During the next week we will be talking to the children about how to take care of the chicks, the types of food they eat and how to keep their cage clean. This is a great opportunity for the children to talk about things they have observed.
