We have had a great start to Year 4! We have spent the last couple of days getting used to our new routines (and have adapted to this so well!), getting our brains ready for learning, and catching up with our classmates.

We started by reading the book 'The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse' and discussed why it is important to not compare ourselves to others, and to show kindness towards ourselves. We have also thought about how the boy feels throughout the story and how it feels to be 'extraordinary'.

On Friday, we spent the day writing a letter to our future selves explaining our current ambitions, likes and dislikes and what we would like to achieve by the end of Year 4. We cannot wait to open these at the end of the year to see what we have achieved! As well as writing our letters, we played games and created our own gratitude tree explaining many things that we are grateful for.
