The world at the time

A key history skill is to not only learn about a historical era/ period, but to also find out what was happening elsewhere at the time. Today's lesson shows you a time and what was happening in ancient Egypt during this time. Your job is to find out what was happening at this time, in other parts of the world. You might find it easier to focus on one part of the world, e.g. Great Britain.

Tutankhamun's tomb

Another key history skill is to be able to examine sources. In this lesson, you are given a set of sources in your pack, and you need to see what you can find out about Tutankhamun from these sources. Use these sources to help you write a diary entry from the point of view of Howard Carter, archaeologist. You can also use the teacher video below to help you.
