We have had an exciting week this week in English as we have moved on to a new text type: newspaper reports. On Monday, the children entered Tutankhamun's tomb and discovered some photographs of items found by Howard Carter in 1922. They considered how it would have felt to have been Howard Carter when he discovered the tomb.
This week, the children have also created freeze frames for our class text when Howard Carter discovered Tutankhamun's tomb and they have identified key features of a newspaper report.
