We are continuing our work on Secrets of a Sun King and will be looking at writing our own newspaper reports and explanation texts. In our Art lessons, we will be developing hue, tint and shade as well as creating side profile portraits and relief printing to support us with answering the question I wonder which artist techniques I can use to create a picture influenced by the Ancient Egyptian style?

In maths, we will be continuing to develop our work on fractions, with a focus on adding, subtracting and finding fractions of amounts. This will support us with our next topic; decimals. 

In science, we will be exploring states of matter, with a focus on the water cycle. We will be recapping our understanding of solids, liquids and gases to help us.
