Awe & Wonder Week

We had the most amazing first week back in Year 5. We took part in our first Awe & Wonder week where we focused on the question 'I wonder if there could be life on other planets?'

Below, there are lots of pictures of things that we did in the week.

Our week was filled with excitement from start to finish. We made rock cakes and galaxy cookies in cookery, we created helmets out of paper mache, we wrote thrilling mystery stories set in space and we used sponges to create a galaxy painting using acrylic paint.

We also wanted to say a massive thank you to the parents who came along for our open morning. It was so special having you a part of our learning for the morning and we hope you enjoyed your time with us as much as we enjoyed having you.

We are now very much looking forward to our next Awe & Wonder week!
