  On Monday Cllr Mellon read to all our year 1 - year 6 pupils as part of his reading challenge.

  And we are very proud to say that he achieved his challenge of reading to 2018 pupils whilst at our school.

  Well done to 4H who are attendance winners for last week with 97.7%.

  Also congratulations to 2E, 4H, 5H and 6PH who all got a spin on our attendance wheel of fortune.

• Maggie's Fund Raising

  This morning in assembly we presented a cheque to Maggie's - a charity based down at Nottingham City Hospital which supports patients and their families who have had a cancer diagnosis.

  We are so proud of all our staff, pupils and parents who have all helped contribute to our fund raising efforts through 5km runs, Christmas performance collections and making and selling book marks. Your generosity has been amazing.

  Well done to 1G who were our attendance winners this week with a fantastic 99.3%. They will be looking after Woofy the attendance dog this week.

  Also well done to 1G, 2F, 4L, 4H, 5R and 5H who all had attendance above 97% last week and got a spin on the wheel of fortune.

• NSPCC E-Safety parent workshop

  We had a great parent workshop this afternoon delivered by NSPCC on keeping our children safe online. Thank you to all those parents who attended.

• After School Clubs Spring 1 - starting week commencing 15th January

  After school clubs will be starting the week commencing 15th January.

  We have a range of clubs on offer this term:

  Football (KS2) Monday

  Choir (KS1 and KS2) Monday

  Reading and Spelling (KS1 and KS 2) Monday

  Hockey (KS2) Tuesday

  Netball (KS2) Tuesday

  Basketball (KS2) Wednesday

  Handball (KS2) Thursday

  Lego (KS2) Thursday

   

  Places are limited so if your child gets a place in a club you will receive a confirmation slip by Friday 12th January. If you do not receive a slip then unfortunately, due t high demand, your child has not been given a place in the club on this occasion.

  Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!
