Maths

Warm up – Counting up and down in 1s up to and beyond 100.

MoneyRecognising Coins

This week you need to learn the value of coins.  Get your grown up to show you all the different money coins we have.  Put them in order and learn how to say what each coin is worth.  Practice swapping coins for those with equivalent values.  E.g. ten 1p coins for one 10p coin or two 10p coins for one 20p coin.  Watch the video https://southglade.primarysite.media/media/maths-monday-6720-money-recognising-coins then complete the questions in the resource section below.

What can you see in the Clouds?

Find a comfy spot, sit or lie down to get a good view of the sky, and see what you can see in the clouds.  What shapes and stories can you see moving in the sky?  Choose one of the activities below:

 

1/  Tell a story to someone in your family based on what you see.

2/  Draw your favourite cloud picture.

3/  Take a photo of the clouds in the sky.
