Week 2
Computing
During computing this week we have been using our skills on 'Paint' to create our own image of the Great Fire of London. We were able to change the colour of the fire and draw the shapes we wanted with the pencil tool.
Science
This week in science we have been exploring different materials deciding on their texture looking at how it feels. We discussed a variety of words including smooth, lumpy, hard, rough and spiky thinking of things at home and school which felt like this and why.
Sports and PE
This week Year 2 had the chance to learn some tennis skills with a professional tennis coach. It was an amazing session which inspired the children to learn more.
Maths
This week we have begun looking at money in maths, exploring amounts and how to make these.
