This week we have been rehearsing our Nativity play and we cannot wait to see you there!

 

In English we have been beginning to explore rhyming words and where these appear in a range of different stories and contexts. We have also been looking at reading in different contexts across the curriculum by exploring instructions to help us design our own monster. 

 

In Maths we have been adding one to a range of numbers. We have also begun to explore number bonds to 20. Through our mathematical exploration we have begun to make links between addition and subtraction including how we can apply our knowledge of number bonds using different strategies. 

 

In Science we have been exploring omnivores and discovering which animals are omnivores. We are going to be comparing all three classifications to ensure we have a good understanding.
