WOW, another wonderful week!

This week we have continued to develop our learning further in Year 1. We have been ordering and comparing numbers in maths, learned about amphibians in Science and even explored sketching techniques to sketch and eye during our curriculum driver art lessons. Each week we are developing and exploring our understanding further. 

Exploring English

This week we have explored verbs and thought about how different animals and people can move in different ways. We watched a range of different videos and began by initially writing down our sentences and ideas. We then developed that in to formed sentences which also included an adjective. These went in our English books. 

We love reading!

This week during our love of reading session we explore the author of our text Oliver Jeffers. He loves to write picture books but he also illustrates the books too! We explored some of his illustrations and used watercolour to complete the artwork.
