I'm sure we can all remember a teacher or someone in our school that made a difference to our school life. That's where 1 to 1 mentoring can help.

 

Sometimes children just need to chat to a member of staff they trust and feel comfortable with. There is often no specific plan, just a chance to express how they are feeling and to address any worries they may have. We want all children to feel happy and enjoy their time at Southglade.

 

Children can drop us a worry slip or a little note to request to see us. Also, all classes in KS2 have a worry box, that the mentors check weekly, so children can ask to see us by leaving us a note in the worry box.
