Today for our English we are thinking about adjectives for a range of different characters. Have a watch of the video exploring some different characters then see if you can have a go exploring adjectives for the characters either in the video or on the work sheet below.
ENGLISH CHALLENGE
We have spoken a lot this week about adjectives and have tried to challenge ourselves all week by putting these labels in to sentences. Can you have a go at trying to use 'and' or 'because' to discuss the sentences for Paddington? Have a look at the video example from Miss Smith below showing how to complete the sentences and different examples.
Reading
Today we are going to think about the reading skill of 'inference' where you use the information in a text or picture to have a good guess at what it might be about. Watch the video of Miss Smith explaining the task then complete the sentence starters about the image.
Maths
Today is Fluency Friday when we practice our mental addition and subtraction skills. We do this through Gem Maths. Mr Land explains how Gem Maths works in a video below.

You should know which Gem Maths level you are on. They can be downloaded below then either print them off and write on, or just record the answers on some paper.
You have 3 minutes. If you score 19 or 20 then you can move onto the next level.
You can practise Gem Maths whenever you want but the test is always on a Friday.
