Overview

Read through some of the introductory speech activities and record answers in your exercise book:

-Sorting sentences that are correct and incorrect

- Rewriting a section of text that isn't properly punctuated with accurate speech punctuation

-Write down the main rules for punctuating speech within narrative stories

 

Watch the video of the jewellery shop opening. Then record down some of the speech that was within the video in speech bubbles.

Remember that only what is spoken should be within the speech bubble.

 

Now try and write an opening to this video that includes some accurately punctuated speech dialogue.

 

You can use your exercise book that has been sent or you can use a template on Purple Mash and then save your work- direct feedback can then be given.
