On Tuesday 21st September, Year 2 had a fantastic Awe and Wonder day based on their topic of the Great Fire of London! They spent the day doing art work replicating the flames and silhouettes in a range of artwork, thinking about fireworks including colours and shapes, learning about fire safety including stop, drop and roll, pretending to be firemen to see how to pass water down a line to put out the fire, working out how long or how they would be able to do this and finally thinking about how the fire would spread using toilet rolls and marbles.
