EAL afternoon
Spanish Afternoon
On Wednesday 22nd of September children across the school enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of fun celebrating all things Spanish. Children in KS2 focused on Gaudi and made amazing mosaics inspired by Gaudi whilst children in ks1 looked at Picasso and a type of art called Cubism. In EYFS children found out all about the Spanish flag and the colours it contains within it.
There was also a Spanish themed menu with children and vegetable paella for the children to enjoy- it was very tasty.
Some year groups also learnt how to flamenco dance- year 2 did an incredible job with this.
Thank-you to Miss Fryer who is our EAL lead across school for organising such a fun afternoon for all of our children.
