End of Key Stage 2 results are a reflection on children's progress throughout their whole time at Southglade Primary and Nursery School.

This year we are incredibly proud of the achievements of our year 6 pupils. Last year we received a letter from Bridget Phillipson congratulating the school on the results for our disadvantaged pupils and this years results are similar in their quality.

70% of pupils reached the combined expected standard in reading, writing and maths compared to 63% nationally.

8% of pupils reached the combined high standards in reading, writing and maths. This was compared to a national figure of 9%

66% of disadvantaged pupils reached the combined expected standards in their reading, writing and maths- this is compared to a national average of 49%.

National results were 74% at EXS and 31% at GDS. Southglade Primary and Nursery School exceeded both of these %.

The scaled score in reading was 107.2 and this was higher than the national scaled score of 106.

The progress score was +4.46 which was the highest progress score in Nottingham City.

In writing 75% of Southglade Primary School's pupils reached EXS+ and 12% reached GDS. This is compared to 73% of pupils nationally for EXS and 13% for GDS.

The progress score in writing was +2.80 which will be deemed as significantly above national. This was the 7th highest progress score in Nottingham City out of 79 schools.

The scaled score average in grammar was 107.1 which was 1.1 higher than the national average scaled score of 106

Maths

In Maths 75% of Southglade Primary School's pupils reached EXS+ and 37% reached GDS. This is compared to 74% of pupils nationally for EXS and 24% for GDS.

The progress score in maths was +3.36 which will be deemed as significantly above national and the 6th highest out of 79 schools in Nottingham City
