Today, our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils proudly showcased their musical talents in a wonderful end-of-year assembly performance, demonstrating the progress they have made through their trumpet and trombone lessons.
On Thursday evening, our Class of 2026 celebrated their Year 6 Leavers' Prom, marking the end of their primary school journey.
The transformation of our new playground is well underway, and pupils are enjoying watching the exciting developments take shape each week.
As part of the exciting development of our new school and playground, Southglade Primary School celebrated a special milestone with the burial of a time capsule, creating a lasting link between Southglade in 2026 and the future.
Year 6 Pop-Up Card Shop Raises Funds for New Football Goals
A huge well done to pupils from year 4 and year 5 who represented our school at the Quad Kids competition at Harvey Haddon last week.
We are delighted to share the latest update on Phase 3 of our school rebuild project: the development of our brand-new school playground.
"We also said goodbye to our year 6 Ambassadors from Southglade who have been with us for 2 years, and who have been exceptional. We will really miss them, and wish them all the best in their transition to the Oakwood Academy."

Last week, we held our reimagined Sports Day – Potted Sports 2026. Due to limited outdoor space and restricted access to the school field during the building works, we took a different approach this year, and it proved to be a huge success!
Exciting progress is being made on our new playground.
On Tuesday 9th June our children took part in their third Wellbeing Day of the year.
