'Believe to Achieve'

Romania Afternoon 6.5.2025

This afternoon we celebrated Romanian day throughout school. We learnt lots of facts about Romania such as what the capital city is, the food they eat and land marks found in Romania. We all had a great time learning new things about Romania including meet and greet phrases eg 'Good morning', 'Good afternoon' and 'hello' in Romanian.

We participated in lots of fun activities including cooking Romanian food, creating a fact file of Romania, looking at the traditional costumes of Romania and lots of arts and crafts. Look at our photos to see how each year group celebrated this afternoon.

In Foundation they looked at the Romanian flag, they made the flag and then coloured it in using the correct colours.

In year 1 we looked at traditional dress and what they wear.

In year 2 they created a passport for Romania

In year 3 they created a fact file for Romania and a lovely art and craft activity where they recreated the Moldoveanu mountains. They look amazing!

Year 5, Romanian leaflets with facts all about Romania.
