Each week in class we discuss key topics in our picture news. These stories have discussion points along with links to the British Values and the UN Rights of the Child. The children have access to videos and text about a particular story and are able to share their thoughts and how these stories make them feel. This provides a weekly opportunity to learn about topics and news stories that are happening around the world and how this impacts different individuals within society.
