Autumn 2 - Viking Art Printing
The children designed their own Viking motifs, drawing inspiration from transitional Viking patterns and symbols. They carefully sketched their designs onto polystyrene tiles, carving out the detail to create printing blocks . Once the tiles were ready, the children used printing ink to press and print their Viking motifs onto paper , producing bold and striking designs that reflected the distinctive Viking style .
Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) Workshops
During this half term, we will be taking part in Shakespeare workshops with Mrs Dowse. These will be based on the play Macbeth.
