Week 1

We have enjoyed being back and spending time with our friends. This week, we explored colour mixing by combining blue and yellow paint to create different shades of green. We then used our shades of green to paint our beanstalks. 

Week 2:

This week, we planted a bean, just like Jasper, to grow our very own beanstalk. We wonder how tall our plants will grow! Do you think there might be a giant at the top of your beanstalk? We can’t wait to watch them grow and find out! 

Week 3:

We have had a busy week learning about and creating our own 3 step colour patterns during our daily maths session. Later in the week, we had lots of fun making symmetrical butterflies using the primary colours, red, blue and yellow. We loved seeing how these colours mixed to create new colours and enjoyed exploring the different patterns they made.
