It is time to rhyme!
This week we have been exploring rhyming words.
We looked at rhyming words in poetry and were thinking about where rhyming words come in a poem.
We practiced a range of different rhyming words.
Have a go at the videos below, then see if you can make up a poem.
There is a template which is 'All About Me' but you can have a go at writing your own rhyming poem without using the template, just make sure it rhymes!
What a wonderful world!
We have been learning this half term at the world around us, learning about land, sea, animals, people and ourselves through our wonderful story 'Here We Are'.
We have also learned about Greta Thunberg during our PSHE sessions thinking about how she helps the environment by stopping climate change.
Use the information below as well as everything we have found out this term to write some fantastic sentences with all the information you know.
Don't forget to include adjectives, capital letters, full stops and hulk smash the conjunction 'and' to extend your sentences.
Today you are going to be an illustrator!
We have had the letter below from Oliver Jeffers. He needs our help to design a new character for his new book. Have a look at the videos below and see what you can create.
