Hello Year 3/4 children!!

Your teachers are Mrs Drage, Mr Pegram, Mrs Rice Mrs Hyland and Mrs Brown

The Teaching Assistants who work with you are Miss Shaw, Mrs Wright, Mrs Stevens, Miss Owen & Miss Fyfe.

Some children will be getting extra support in literacy and numeracy. Teaching assistants will be running support groups in Numeracy and Literacy as well as supporting children within their phonics groups.

We will also post photos of the exciting things we have done in school and share some of the brilliant work you have done so you can show your friends and family.

Homework & Research Tasks

In Year 3/4 we expect children to do the following at home:

- read to an adult 3 times a week and have reading diary signed by an adult. Please ensure that your child always has their reading book and diary with them in school for every school day.

- learn spellings and/ or times-tables on a weekly basis.

Welcome to class 7 year 3/4 children.

Some useful information:

-swimming on Monday afternoons, PE on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Please ensure that your children have suitable kit for these sessions

-homework will be given out on Friday, new spellings will be given out on the Monday.

-children should read 3 times a week at home- this needs to be signed into their diaries- children receive golden time if they reach this target

 

Class 8 Information

Outside PE is on Thursday and Indoor PE is on Friday,.

Spelling test is on Tuesday.

Reading diaries are checked on Wednesday.

Homework is to be handed in by Friday.

 

Welcome to all children in Class 5

Mrs Hyland teaches Monday and Tuesday.

Mrs Brown teaches Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

P.E Kit needed

Monday ( indoors)

Tuesday (outdoors)

Wedneday (indoors)

They are not swimming this Autumn term.

Reading Book/Diary- This needs to be bought to school everyday please and the children need to read at least 3 times a week. (Many are read more than this - thankyou).

Homework - This has changed from the booklet you were given.

Mrs Hyland still gives out one piece of homework to be returned on a Monday but the numeracy homework is given out now by their numeracy teacher.

Mrs Brown gives out numeracy homework to her group on a Wednesday and would like it returned by the next Wednesday .
